Quick start guide: your first personalised outreach

This guide gets you from a finished workspace profile to your first live campaign in a single session, using the Campaign Copilot. If you have not set up your workspace yet, start with How to sign up and set up your account.
The Campaign Copilot sits on the left of the campaign screen, where you chat with it. The canvas on the right shows your sequence, strategy, and analytics as they are built.
Step 1: Choose your audience
If you have just finished onboarding, the Onboarding Copilot takes you straight into your first campaign. For later campaigns, click Create campaign. Tell the Copilot which persona you want to reach, or ask it to pick the best fit. Choose the country you want to target.
The Copilot searches Sendr's contact database and shows you how many contacts it found and the filters it used. If the list is too narrow or too broad, ask it to adjust, for example "include companies with 50 to 500 employees".
Step 2: Choose your channels
The Copilot recommends which channels to use (email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) and whether to include a voicenote or video. Accept its recommendation or tell it what you would prefer.
Step 3: Review your messages
The Copilot drafts your messages using your workspace profile and the persona you chose. Read them and ask for any changes in the chat, for example "make this shorter", "use British spelling", or "sound less formal". It rewrites the message until you are happy.
Step 4: Approve the strategy
The Copilot sums up the campaign as a strategy on the canvas: the audience, channels, hook, proof points, and sequence flow. Review it, ask for changes, then click Build to approve it.
Step 5: Save your contacts
Choose how many contacts to save into the campaign. The Copilot then builds each step of your sequence on the canvas.
Step 6: Run the pre-campaign checklist
Open the checklist before launching. It checks that your sequence and branches are connected, your variables are set up, and any media is ready. From here you can also:
Connect your email and LinkedIn accounts. Your plan includes 2 channels.
Record any voicenotes. The Copilot gives you a suggested script for each one.
Fix anything the checklist flags before you launch.
Step 7: Launch and track
Launch the campaign. Sendr sends on your schedule and you can follow progress in the Analytics tab: contacts in progress and complete, opportunities (contacts who replied with interest), open and reply rates across your channels, and a breakdown per channel. Click any number to see the contacts behind it.
What it costs
Building a campaign with the Copilot uses credits. The credits icon at the top of the Copilot shows how many the current campaign has used. See Understanding credits for details.
Prefer to build it yourself?
You can still build every part of a campaign by hand: find leads in Lead Finder, enrich them in Data Studio, build a page template in Personalised Pages, then set up the steps in the Sequencer. See Building your first sequence for the manual route.
