Building your first sequence

This guide shows you how to build a sequence by hand inside a campaign. If you would rather have the Campaign Copilot build it with you, see Building a campaign with the Campaign Copilot.
Step 1: Open your campaign
Click Create campaign to start a new campaign, or open an existing one. Sequences live inside campaigns, so each campaign has its own sequence.
Step 2: Add your contacts
Go to the campaign's Contacts tab and add the people you want to reach. You can save them from Lead Finder or import a CSV. Every contact in the campaign moves through the sequence.
Step 3: Add your steps
Open the Sequencer and click "Add step" to build your sequence. A typical first sequence might look like:
Send Email: your initial outreach with the personalised page link
Wait: 3 days
Send Email: a short follow-up
Wait: 4 days
Send Connection: sends the LinkedIn connection request and automatically moves the contact on once they accept
Send LinkedIn message
If your emails include a personalised page link, add a Generate page step from the Enrichments section before the first email. See Generating personalised pages.
Step 4: Set your schedule
Define which days and times the sequence is allowed to send. Set the timezone. Sendr will only execute steps during the windows you define. See "Sequence schedule: days, times, and timezone" for detail.
Step 5: Connect your channels
Make sure the channels your steps need (for example, one email channel and one LinkedIn account) are connected in Settings > Channels. Sendr Core and the free trial include 2 channels.
Step 6: Run the checklist and launch
Run the pre-campaign checklist to confirm your sequence, variables, media, and channels are ready, then launch the campaign. Sendr begins processing your contacts according to your schedule, and you can follow progress in the Analytics tab.
