Reply detection: what happens when a contact replies

Sendr monitors both your connected email channels and LinkedIn accounts for replies from contacts in active sequences. When a reply is detected, the contact is automatically paused in the sequence and no further steps fire for them.

How reply detection works

Reply detection is automatic for both email and LinkedIn. You do not need to configure anything. Sendr monitors inbound messages across your connected channels and matches replies to contacts currently in a sequence.

When a match is found, the contact is marked as replied and removed from active sequence steps. You will see this reflected in your sequence view.

Email replies

When a contact replies to an email sent from a sequence, Sendr detects the reply and pauses that contact. The reply goes to the inbox the email was sent from, so you can respond directly from your email client.

LinkedIn replies

When a contact replies to a LinkedIn message sent from a sequence, Sendr detects the reply and pauses that contact automatically. You can follow up with them directly in LinkedIn.

What to do after a reply

Once a contact is marked as replied, they are out of the sequence. You can see all replied contacts in your sequence view and follow up manually at your own pace.
