Why do I pay for Channels if I have a lifetime deal?
What your AppSumo lifetime deal includes, what a Channel is, and why connected sending channels are an optional, separate add-on.

If you backed Sendr on AppSumo, you might have opened your account expecting to send straight away, then run into a charge when connecting a Channel. Nothing has been taken away from your deal. Here is what your lifetime deal covers, what a Channel is, and why it is a separate, optional add-on.
What your lifetime deal includes
Everything you backed is still yours: your monthly credits, LipSync allocation, voice clones, Lead Finder, Data Studio, SendrAI, the Chrome extension, waterfall enrichment, dynamic videos and GIFs, and the page builder. And if you are on Tier 3 or Tier 4, your deal includes the full Workspace Bundle (unlimited team members, white-label, custom domains, API and webhooks, and the automation builder), as it always has.
Since you backed us we have also added the Sequencer, a multichannel workflow tool that pulls contacts from Lead Finder, enriches them with SendrAI, and runs sequences across email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, with conditional logic, waits, AI decisions and engagement tracking. The Sequencer is included on every tier, Tier 1 to Tier 4, at no extra cost.
What a Channel is
A Channel is a connected sending account (a Gmail, Outlook, LinkedIn or WhatsApp account) that Sendr sends through on your behalf. Behind each Channel sits the infrastructure that keeps that sending safe and reliable: dedicated sending locations, queue management, and per-channel compliance controls.
Why Channels are a separate add-on
That sending infrastructure relies on specialised third-party services, and it carries a real cost for every connected Channel, every month. It is the one part of Sendr with an ongoing per-channel cost attached to it. That is why Channels sit outside the lifetime deal. It is not a feature being held back, it is a direct cost we pass on to you with no markup.
What Channels cost
Channels are opt-in, so there is nothing to pay unless you connect one, and you are only billed for the Channels you actually connect. You can check current pricing on our pricing page, and add or remove Channels at any time from your subscription settings.
You don't have to use Channels at all
If you already have a sending tool you like, you can run all of your enrichment, personalisation and sequence logic in Sendr and push the result out to your own platform or CRM using the Sequencer's Send a request action. Used this way you never need to connect a Channel. See Sending data from a sequence to an external tool (the Send a request action).
Already connected a Channel and want to stop paying?
You are only billed for the Channels you have connected, so removing them removes the cost. Reduce your connected Channels in your subscription settings and you keep everything else in your deal: Lead Finder, enrichment, personalised pages and videos, and the Sequencer as a workflow tool. You can reconnect a Channel whenever you want to send email, LinkedIn or WhatsApp messages directly from Sendr again.
