Introduction to the Automation Builder

The Automation Builder is Sendr's no-code tool for connecting your workspace to the other apps you use. If you have used an automation tool like Zapier or Make, the idea is the same: you build workflows that move data between apps automatically, with no code.
Each automation has a trigger (something that happens) and one or more actions (what happens next). Keep them to a single step, or chain several together for more involved workflows.
What you can build
A common use is adding contacts straight into a Sendr campaign. For example, when a contact reaches a certain stage in your CRM, the Automation Builder can drop them into a campaign so outreach starts on its own.
That is just one option. A few other examples:
Add new contacts from your CRM into a Sendr campaign automatically
Update a record in your CRM when a contact visits their personalised page
Post a Slack message to your team when someone books a meeting
Write Sendr engagement data back to your CRM
Your automations do not have to involve Sendr at all. If it suits your workflow, you can connect two of your other tools to each other, for example moving new contacts from one outreach tool into your CRM.
Who can use it
The Automation Builder is included in Sendr Core and the free trial.
How to access it
Open the Automation Builder from Automations in the main navigation, or go straight to app.sendr.io/automations. From there you can create, edit, and manage your automations.
Supported apps
These apps come pre-configured in the Automation Builder, so you only need to choose the app and connect it:
Airtable
Clay
Data Storage
Gemini AI
Gmail
Gong
Google Ads
Google Sheets
HeyReach
HTTP Request (outgoing webhook)
HubSpot
Instantly
JavaScript
Kit
Klaviyo
LeadConnector
Monial
Pabbly Subscription and Billing
Salesforce
Slack
Smartlead
Typeform
Webhook
See Connecting HubSpot to Sendr for a setup guide.
Connecting any other app
If the app you want is not on the list, use the Webhook option. It lets you connect any app to Sendr. See Connecting Attio to Sendr for an example.
Good to know
We're planning to bring the Automation Builder into the Sequencer soon, so you'll be able to use triggers and actions directly in your campaigns. Until then, the Automation Builder works as described here.
