How to keep your LinkedIn account safe while using Sendr

Sendr automates LinkedIn actions on your behalf, including connection requests, messages, and profile views. LinkedIn monitors accounts for automated behaviour and can restrict accounts that exceed safe usage thresholds. Following these guidelines protects your account.

Sendr sets conservative defaults for LinkedIn activity. The recommended maximums are:

  • Connection requests: 20 per week
  • Direct messages: 100 per day
  • Profile views: 100 per day

These limits keep your activity within what LinkedIn considers normal human behaviour. You can adjust them in your LinkedIn channel settings, but exceeding the recommended limits increases the risk of your account being flagged.

Use a warmed-up LinkedIn account

If your account is relatively new or has had low recent activity, start with lower limits and build up gradually. An established account with a complete profile and regular organic activity is far less likely to attract attention from LinkedIn's automated detection.

Do not run automation from multiple tools at once

Running Sendr alongside other LinkedIn automation tools multiplies your total activity volume and significantly raises the risk of a restriction. Use Sendr as your single LinkedIn automation tool.

Respond to verification prompts promptly

If LinkedIn asks you to complete a verification, do it as soon as you can. Delays can cause the session to be invalidated. See "My LinkedIn channel is asking me to complete a verification" for guidance.

What to do if your account is restricted

If your LinkedIn account is restricted, stop all automation immediately. Do not attempt to reconnect the channel in Sendr. Follow LinkedIn's own account recovery process first. Once LinkedIn has lifted the restriction, reconnect the channel and resume your sequences.
