Will a Sendr link or GIF hurt my email deliverability?

This is a common concern. The short answer is: used correctly, no.

Sendr generates a unique URL for each contact. Because every link is different, it does not trigger the pattern-matching filters that flag identical links sent to thousands of recipients — which is one of the main ways bulk email gets caught.

Dynamic GIFs

GIFs in emails can sometimes affect deliverability if used carelessly. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Keep GIF file sizes reasonable — large images slow load times and can be filtered
  • Do not make the GIF the only content in your email — include real text around it
  • Avoid GIFs in the very first email to a cold contact if your inbox is not yet warmed

General deliverability hygiene

The biggest factors in deliverability are domain reputation, DNS setup (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), sending volume, and list quality. A properly configured setup sending to verified, relevant contacts will perform well regardless of whether you include a Sendr link or GIF.
