Creating a voice clone

A voice clone lets Sendr generate audio in your own voice, so your LipSync videos and dynamic voicenotes sound like you recorded them for each contact. You create a voice clone from a recording, at the point you set up your media. There is nothing to set up in Settings beforehand.

Where you create a voice clone

You can do this in two places.

In a page template

  1. Add the header section to your page template.
  2. In the media module on the left of the page builder, record or upload a voice note or video.
  3. Click Add magic and choose Create a dynamic voice clone or lipsync video.
  4. Sendr clones your voice and transcribes your recording. Select the words you want to personalise for each contact.
  5. Choose the language and voice model, then save.

In the sequencer

  1. Add a Media action to your sequence: Video only, Lipsync video, Dynamic video, or Dynamic voice note.
  2. Record or upload your media. Sendr transcribes it.
  3. Select the words to make dynamic, then choose the language and voice model.
  4. Save.

Sendr builds the clone from the recording you provide, so the quality of that recording matters. See "Getting a better voice clone: quality tips".

What happens next

Once you have created a LipSync video or dynamic audio, Sendr adds a column to your campaign table with a row for each contact, holding that contact's personalised media. From there you can export the table as a .csv to send through another platform, or send through the Sequencer, which pulls each contact's media from that column.

Good to know

  • There is no voice clone setup in Settings. It is created from your recording when you add dynamic audio or a LipSync video.
  • The same recording quality affects every output, so a clean recording is worth getting right first time.
