Using conditions to branch a sequence
Written By John Bromley

Condition steps let you split your sequence into two paths based on whether a contact meets a rule. This lets you send different follow-ups depending on what each contact has done.
How it works
A condition step evaluates a rule for each contact. If the rule is true, the contact follows the "Yes" branch. If false, they follow the "No" branch. Each branch can have its own subsequent steps.
Example
- Send Email with page link
- Wait 3 days
- Condition: Has the contact visited their page?
- Yes: Send a follow-up referencing the page they viewed
- No: Send a more general follow-up nudging them to check it out
Available conditions
- Page visited (yes/no)
- Email opened (yes/no)
- Email link clicked (yes/no)
- Connected on LinkedIn (yes/no)
- Calendar booking made (yes/no)
