Monitoring execution and fixing failed rows

Written By John Bromley

The sequence execution view shows you the status of every contact in your sequence — which step they are on, what has fired, and whether anything has failed.

Statuses

StatusWhat it means
ActiveThe contact is progressing through the sequence
RepliedThe contact replied to an email; sequence paused for this contact
CompletedThe contact has finished all steps
FailedA step failed to execute for this contact
PausedThe contact has been manually paused

Fixing failed rows

If a step fails for a contact (for example, a LinkedIn message could not be sent because you are not connected), the row shows a failed status with a reason.

To fix a failed row:

  1. Review the failure reason
  2. Resolve the underlying issue (e.g. connect on LinkedIn first)
  3. Retry the step or move the contact to the next step manually

Removing contacts

You can remove a contact from a sequence at any time from the execution view. They will receive no further steps.
